Ahead: Your independent partner for customised fund solutions

Ahead Wealth Solutions AG, founded in 2008 and based in Vaduz, operates as a management company under Liechtenstein law. Its activities are licensed in accordance with strict European legislation and are subject to the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA). As a management company in accordance with the Law on Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITSA) and as an AIFM in accordance with the Law on Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMA), Ahead fulfils the high requirements and quality standards of the conduct of business regulations of the Liechtenstein fund centre. As a member of the Liechtenstein Investment Fund Association (LAFV) with CEO Alex Boss as Association President since 2013, the company is also committed to consistently complying with these standards.

International reach

Ahead is not only authorised in Liechtenstein, but is also notified in various European countries for the cross-border provision of services in the fund sector. It offers financial intermediaries an independent platform for establishing and launching private label funds and supports its clients from the initial consultation to the final fund launch. Banking, legal and tax experts are called in as required.

Innovation and diverse investment solutions

The core expertise of Ahead Wealth Solutions AG ranges from asset and risk management to sales support and the repatriation of international funds. The company manages an extensive range of asset classes, including traditional securities as well as alternative investments in real estate and private equity. In 2019, Ahead obtained the licence for the first European alternative investment fund (AIF) to offer units in the form of blockchain-based security tokens. As an independent management company, Ahead offers its clients a free choice of custodian and currently cooperates with seven renowned banks in Liechtenstein.

Expertise in product development

The company also has extensive experience in issuing financial products, particularly in the securitisation of various assets such as shares, bonds, private equity and real estate. The product portfolio includes actively managed certificates, tracker certificates, private debt and credit linked notes, for which Ahead offers customised structuring advice.

By combining in-depth market knowledge and expertise in the fund sector, Ahead enables its clients to realise precise investment solutions that are precisely tailored to their specific requirements.

Ahead attaches great importance to conserving resources and has specifically taken the following measures to save resources:

  • Paper is primarily printed on both sides
  • Use of modern, energy-saving devices
  • Switching off the screens when not in use for a long time
  • Purchasing from local suppliers, etc.

The qualification of all employees and the adaptation to changing framework conditions is ensured through internal training.

In accordance with the European Union's understanding of sustainability, it should not only be limited to ecological aspects, but rather should take into account the entire ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) spectrum. In this regard, Ahead is subject to disclosure obligations under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). In fulfillment of these obligations, we disclose the following:

Ahead does not take into account any Adverse Impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors at the company level. This is due, among other things, to the fact that not all relevant information is yet available. However, we will closely monitor developments in this area and will inform you about any changes here.

Ahead manages the funds based on the investment policy defined in the respective fund prospectus and takes into account the negative effects of sustainability risks in accordance with the objectives of the investment strategy. Whether the individual funds take into account “Adverse Impacts” of investment decisions on sustainability factors depends on the respective investment strategy of the fund.

Our remuneration policy is based on the long-term sustainable development of the company. Ahead sets its compensation policy in accordance with its values, goals and interests. The remuneration principles and practices are published on the Ahead website. Ahead will be happy to provide further details on the information mentioned upon customer request.

This sustainability strategy is subject to regular review and is updated as necessary depending on the development of business activities and adjustments to the strategy to implement sustainability criteria and risks.
